Pikmin Bloom "Spot Challenge" announced for Manga Barcelona 2024

From Italy, we’re jumping over to Spain, where Niantic will be holding the next and last Spot Challenge of the year at Manga Barcelona 2024. If you’re attending, seize the opportunity to get your hands on a few extra seedlings by visiting Special Spots and completing the Spot Challenge!

Manga Barcelona is the largest cosplay, anime, manga and Japanese culture convention held annually in Spain, and the second largest in Europe.

Manga Barcelona 2024 takes place Dec. 5th through 8th, 2024. The in-app Special Spots and Spot Challenge will be available during the time above. Actual time of other Manga Barcelona activities may differ.

When you are at Fira Barcelona Gran Vía, you will receive a mission to walk 1000 steps. Clear the mission to receive a Gold Seedling that grows into a Red Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin.

• If you don’t clear the mission while at Fira Barcelona Gran Vía, you can still clear it afterwards.
• The mission is available only once per user. Once you clear it, you won’t receive it again even if you visit Fira Barcelona Gran Vía more than once during the event.
• The mission must be completed by December 8, 2024, at 20:00 (local time).

Besides the Spot Challenge mission, there will be a total of 4 Special Spots located at the Nintendo area and other areas in Fira Barcelona Gran Vía. Swipe down on these Special Spots to receive Gold Seedlings that grow respectively into the Decor Pikmin below:

• Zona Libros: Tiny Book Decor Pikmin

• Manga Sport: Ball Keychain Decor Pikmin

Please note that the color of the Pikmin will be randomized and the amount of Gold Seedlings you can receive from each Special Spot is limited to one per day, per user. Lastly, the event is subject to change or cancellation without notice due to weather conditions or other reasons.
