The Holy Gosh Darn "Accolades" Trailer

Victory Heat Rally physical pre-orders open

Victory Heat Rally is set to hit the Switch eShop on December 12th, 2024. Would you rather snag a physical copy instead? You’ll be happy to know that Limited Run Games is offering one, and pre-orders are live right now.
There’s just one standard version of the game up for grabs, which nets you a physical game card and box. That said, you can also bundle the package with the game’s soundtrack as well, which will be offered via CD. You can snag pre-orders for either version here.

Handheld footage of Super Nintendo World's Donkey Kong Country minecart ride surfaces
Better buckle up!
Last month, Nintendo aired a special Nintendo Direct that was all about the Donkey Kong Country expansion for Super Nintendo World. In particular, we got to see how the Japanese side of things shaping up via a tour from Shigeru Miyamoto. It was a great little glimpse into the park, but it no doubt left some eager to see more, especially when it comes to the main attraction.
Today, a new video has surfaced that shows a great deal of footage from the Donkey Kong Country “Minecart Madness” ride. Nintendo barely showed off a few seconds of the experience, but the video below gives us a very detailed look at the flow and design of the ride. Obviously, there’s some big spoilers here, so only watch if you don’t mind being in the know.
The Donkey Kong Country portion of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan is set to open to the general public on Dec. 11th, 2024. This expansion will also make its way to Super Nintendo World in Florida and California at a later date.
Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2 physical release, vinyl OST revealed

Limited Run Games has revealed that they’re giving Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2 a physical release. There will be a standard version for $45 and the above Deluxe Edition for $90. Here’s the extra goodies you’ll find in the Deluxe Edition:

The vinyl album and two physical releases of Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2 are set to open pre-orders on Dec. 6th, 2024.
Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2 includes: Cosmic Fantasy 3: Bōken Shōnen Rei, Cosmic Fantasy 4: Ginga Shōnen Densetsu - Totsunyū-hen, and Cosmic Fantasy 4: Ginga Shōnen Densetsu - Gekitō-hen.
RUMOR: Switch successor accessories leak
Nintendo can't plug these leaks fast enough!
The leaks about the Switch successor have been popping up here and there all year, but they’ve really picked up steam in the last few weeks. Just a few days back we had a supposed look at the Switch successor Joy-Con, and today we’re sneaking a peak at two supposed accessories.
First up is a look at a rumored screen protector for the Switch successor. While it’s not all that exciting of an accessory in and of itself, it’s the size of it that’s the real talking point. The smaller screen protector in the image above is for the original Switch, so if the leak is the real deal, the Switch successor’s screen is considerably larger.
Along with that comes the next leak, which gives us a glimpse at a case for the Switch successor. This is a third party offering and not a case from Nintendo themselves, so make of it what you will. Again, nothing mind-blowing here, but if the images are legit, it makes you think that the hardware’s reveal really is right around the corner.
We’ll keep our eye out for more leaks and also try to get confirmation on the validity of the images above.

The long-awaited game Changeable Guardian Estique, a new NES and Famicom game developed by Cat Hui Trading, is releasing Dec. 16th, 2024. You can grab a physical copy via the Broke Studio store.

Bullet hell shmup "Redneg Allstars Swing-By Edition" refused rating in NA/EU, releasing in Japan
You miss every shot you don't take
Here’s something we don’t often see. An upcoming Switch game has been refused official release in North America and Europe, but it will launch on the Japanese Switch eShop.
The bullet hell shooter Redneg Allstars Swing-By Edition is coming to Switch, but only in Japan. According to the developer, the game has been refused an official eShop listing/release in Europe and North America due to “expression restrictions.” Unfortunately, we don’t have more specific info on why the game was refused classification outside of Japan.
Speculation on the game’s lack of worldwide classification points to two different possibilities. First up, while the game doesn’t have nudity, it does have some character designs that are over-exaggerated in a few specific areas. Along with that, the game’s Steam release says the title has “elements associated with drug abuse.” Again, this is all speculation as to why the game won’t get an official worldwide release, but you can always hop on the Japanese eShop and snag a copy no matter where you live.
