Super Mario Bros. Wonder adds some delightful new characters to the Mario universe, and now two more of them are available as plushes.
San-ei, a longtime Nintendo merch collaborator, has revealed the next project from the Mario universe, and it’s available right now. The new merch options are a pair of plush flowers, the Wonder Flower and the Talking Flower. Each of these plushies is priced at roughly $12 USD.

Pokémon TCG Pocket isn’t even a month old, but it’s already producing huge profits for The Pokémon Company. Of course, the game can be played completely free if you’re willing to wait to unlock new cards… but what if you don’t have the patience for that?
Redditor Weens4Life went ahead and spent real money in order to unlock every single card currently available in the app. Their total spending came to $1,500 in exchange for every card, including what’s in the base set and the Genetic Apex expansion. Doing so required them to open a total of 1,741 booster packs. That’s a lotta packs!
Since the cards you get are randomized, the $1,500 number isn’t set in stone. It could take more or less money for other players to realize this goal, and of course, more cards are sure to be added down the line. Still, if you’re not willing to wait, this is about how much you can probably expect to spend for a complete digital collection as of now.

Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity doesn’t just help you craft, it’s essential to one’s survival! Four misfits—Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Hansen), Natalie (Myers) and Dawn (Brooks)—find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they’ll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve (Black). Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative…the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world.

The Time I Have Left could come to Switch via Kickstarter stretch goal
Enough time for a Switch release?
The Time I Have Left is a time-driven escape adventure RPG that just launched on Kickstarter. The game is currently only planned for release on PC via Steam, but the developers said they designed the game “with porting in mind”. Although an official stretch goal number hasn’t been announced, the Kickstarter page confirms that a Nintendo console release is planned, should they get enough funding.
Click here to view the Kickstarter page for more info, or check out the trailer above.
The Time I Have Left is a time-driven escape adventure RPG with a big focus on storytelling. As fans of JRPGs—both old and new— we wanted to give a spin to the classic formula while still keeping a nostalgic flair.
The Time I Have Left combines the exploration and narrative strengths of adventure games, and the depth of turn-based combat RPGs into a unique yet familiar take on both genres.
The player takes the role of Aline, a woman affected by a mysterious condition called “The Miasma” that will claim her life in six hours. Guide her through the depths of the mysterious Colony 7 in search of a way out, and help her make the most of her time.
CRKD teasing what appears to be a Guitar Hero grip controller for Fortnite Festival
Guitar Hero DS lives again...?
Manufacturer CRKD is teasing a new product of some kind on Twitter. The tease in question features a brief clip of what appears to be some type of controller peripheral shrouded in darkness. Accompanying the clip is the message, “The stage is set… Are you? 🔮🌊”.
Although it’s difficult to make out exactly what’s going on in such a dark video, some Internet sleuths have put together a pretty strong theory. Brightening the image, it looks an awful lot like the Guitar Hero controller grip which was made for Guitar Hero: On Tour for the Nintendo DS. It also seems like the device might be attached to a Nintendo Switch in the video.
In addition, what looks like the logo for Fortnite Festival can be made out at the bottom of the device. All of those tidbits line up to indicate that CRKD is working on a Guitar Hero style controller peripheral for the Switch, specifically for the rhythm-based Fortnite Festival mode in Fortnite.
Of course, this is all speculation right now. CRKD says that an official reveal will be coming “soon”. Check out the video below, and see what you think:
Visual novel Shirogane Maid Club now available on Switch
Was this game maid for you?
Publisher Cyberstep has officially released their game Shirogane Maid Club onto the Nintendo Switch. This is a visual novel that involves a maid club, space aliens, and the “three sacred maid artifacts”.
Shirogane Maid Club is not currently listed on the North American eShop. However, it does feature English and several other language options, so you can access it via another region’s eShop if you change your Switch’s regional settings. Apparently, the developer used AI to assist in translating the game to other languages. Whether or not this resulted in any errors or mistranslations is hard to say, but it’s there for you to try if you’re interested.
Click here to learn more and to view the game’s trailer.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake players struggling with small text size in Japan
Get your reading glasses out for this one
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake has already proven to be a massive hit, with the game facing sellouts in Japan just after its launch. Unfortunately, it sounds like some Japanese players are struggling to play the game for long periods of time. Apparently, the culprit is players’ dwindling eyesight.
According to an article in Weekly Josei Prime, numerous Japanese reviews have cited Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake’s small text size as a serious hindrance to their enjoyment. One reviewer stated, “I can only play for about 2 hours before my eyes start to hurt”. Other comments echo this sentiment, complaining that the text is too small, and that it has a negative effect due to their farsightedness. Even legendary Nintendo art designer Takaya Imamura took note of the complaints, commenting with a simple “uh oh” on Twitter.
As of now, Square Enix has not commented on these complaints. It probably wouldn’t be difficult to patch in a larger text option to the game, but whether or not they’ll decide it’s necessary remains to be seen. For now, if you’re struggling with reading text in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake on your Switch, you may be better off playing it on your TV than in handheld mode.
New Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom art shared by Nintendo
No way to see through this disguise
Nintendo has shared some new art inspired by the latest Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. This piece comes courtesy of their official Legend of Zelda Japanese Twitter account.
The illustration depicts Zelda in her hooded disguise as she sneaks alongside a wall with her own wanted poster on it. You can also see Tri floating along at the bottom of the image. Check out the full version of the artwork by clicking the image embedded below:
In this latest adventure, the people of Hyrule are being stolen away inside strange rifts appearing throughout the land. With the help of an ethereal creature called Tri and the powerful Tri Rod, Princess Zelda boldly takes on a quest to save her kingdom. This latest Legend of Zelda adventure includes new features such as:
Echoes: Using the Tri Rod, Zelda can create echoes – imitations of things found in the environment. Echoes can then be recreated to help solve puzzles and can be combined for creative problem-solving, such as using water blocks to reach new heights, making bridges out of old beds, throwing rocks at foes and more. Zelda can even create echoes of monsters to fight by her side in combat!
