Mario, Donkey Kong and Kirby gift bags/boxes, party goods and more revealed

Nintendo has just revealed a big wave of merch for fans in Japan, and the pieces spotlight Mario, Donkey Kong and Kirby.

First up are Mario and Kirby-themed gift boxes that let you present your Switch software presents with an extra bit of pizazz. These boxes have room to cram in whatever other goodies you’d like alongside the software itself, and they even include a light that illuminates the box cover when switched on. You can see an example of that via the image at the top of this post.

Next up are Mario and Kirby charms that include sticker sheets. You can use these stickers to add all sorts of messages to the charm, or you can leave the sheets for the recipient to decorate with as they see fit.

Nintendo is also offering a wide variety of eco-friendly gift wraps and bags that can be reused as you see fit. Some of these bags can be swung over your shoulder and used for day-to-day activities, while others are more meant as pretty packaging for gifts. Of course, as the gift bags are eco-friendly, they can be reused for other purposes as well.

Last but not least, we have a selection of Kirby items. There’s a Kirby tissue dispenser, Kirby pillow, Kirby decals/stickers (peel and re-stick), and Kirby decorative garland for parties.

All of these products are available at Nintendo TOKYO/KYOTO/OSAKA starting today, but they’ll be sold at other retailers as well. As usual, there’s no word on any of these items seeing release outside of Japan at this time.
