Heinz Japan reveals Kirby collab

Kirby fans know that the Maxim Tomato is an item seen since the franchise’s very beginning, and it restores Kirby to full health. While Kirby loves eating just about anything, it’s clear he’s got a special fondness for tomatoes, and now we’re seeing that realized in the real world.

Heinz Japan has announced a collaboration with Kirby, and the results are a series of special Kirby-branded ketchup pouches. You can see the complete lineup above, which includes classic tomato, balsamic and sriracha flavors. These will be launched in Japan before November 2024 closes out.

As you probably guessed, this collaboration is only going to appear in Japan, which is a true shame. There’s no doubt plenty of people around the world would love to try these ketchups and collect the Kirby pouches, so let’s hope that Heinz considers bringing the collaboration to other regions.
