The Super Mario Bros. Movie to air on Japanese TV for the first time
Mario's making moves
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been an incredible success that just keeps chugging along. From a massive haul at the box office to incredible returns with both the digital rental and physical release, Nintendo and Universal proved that they have what it takes to help Mario dominate a whole new part of entertainment.
While many of us have seen The Super Mario Bros. Movie a billion times over by now, there’s still some out there who haven’t had the chance to go on that cinematic adventure. Thankfully, Universal continues to distribute the film through various platforms, and soon there’ll be yet another new way to check the movie out.
Fuji TV has announced that they’ll be airing The Super Mario Bros. Movie on TV in Japan. The film will make its traditional TV debut on Dec. 31st, 2024 at 7 PM, marking the very first time the movie has been shown on Japanese TV. That’ll be quite the movie to enjoy for New Year’s Eve festivities! Quite a fun way to ring in 2025 if you ask me!
