Pokémon GO's Dec. 2024 events detailed

We’ve been covering all the Pokémon GO events planned for December 2024 for a few weeks now, but today Niantic has put out a breakdown of dates for multiple activities. If you like to plan out your Pokémon GO calendar in advance, the dates below are ones you’ll want to make sure you jot down.

• The Just My Cup of Tea event will run from December 3rd through December 7th
• A Research Day, Aspiring Dragons, runs on December 7th
• A Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day will run on December 8th
• The Young & Wise event will run from December 10th through 14th
• A Necrozma Fusion Raid Day will run on December 14th
• The Holiday Part 1 event runs from December 17th through December 22nd
• The Holiday Part 2 event runs from December 22nd through December 27th
• The Charged Embers Hatch Day runs on December 29th
• The New Years 2025 event runs from December 30th through January 1st
• Machop, Beldum, Wooloo and Falinks will be in Max Battles from December 3rd through 9th
• Bublasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Krabby and Skwover will be in Max Battles from December 9th through 23rd
• Krabby, Cryogonal, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble will be in Max Battles from December 23rd through January 6th
• Genesect Chill Drive will be in 5 Star Raid Battles from December 3rd through 12th. This introduces its Shiny into the game. Mega Banette will run along with this.
• Mega Latios will be in Legendary Mega Raid Battles from December 12th through 19th
• Mega Latias will be in Legendary Mega Raid Battles from December 19th through 26th
• Giratina Altered Forme will be in 5 Star Raid Battles from December 26th through January 4th. Mega Abomasnow will be in Mega Raids along with this.
